Executive Director, NW Houston - Kellie J Berger

Hello everyone! My name is Kellie Berger and I am the Parent Lead for Texas Hands & Voices in the Houston area and the Membership Chair for Texas Hands & Voices. My husband and I have lived in Cypress since 2000. We have a daughter and son in high school and another daughter in 5th grade. Our youngest was born here in Texas just a few months after the mandatory screening began. As a result, her hearing loss was found at birth and she was aided at 4 months old. We tested the older two kids also that summer and found our oldest daughter has a progressive hearing

loss. She got her hearing aids just a few months before kindergarten. We had quite a learning curve to adjust to that summer! Both girls have excelled thanks to the support we received early on and continue to receive. 
I am very excited to be a part of Hands & Voices and have the opportunity "pay it forward" and help other families find the best opportunities and support systems to fit their needs.
